The San Francisco World Spirits Competition

Proudly recognized at the San Francisco World Spirits Awards, our Citrus, Berry, and Tropical Moonshine expressions each earned a Silver Medal—the highest awarded for any moonshine. 

(SFWSC) Stands as the most prestigious spirits competition in the world, setting the industry standard for excellence. Recognizing both globally renowned distilleries and rising small-batch producers, SFWSC medal winners earn widespread recognition and respect.

AMERICAN CRAFT SPIRITS ASSOCIAION

A carefully selected group of expert judges evaluated hundreds of spirits at Cotton & Reed in Washington, D.C., in January of 2026 and Sacramento, CA in April of 2026. Entries were submitted in seven main categories: brandy, gin, ready to drink (RTD), rum, distilled specialty spirits, vodka and grain spirits, and whiskey. 

 

Moon Moonshine’s Citrus & Berry expressions won Bronze at the 2026 American Craft Spirits Awards, the highest of any moonshine.
